With the new FDM0620 series, Faulhaber is adding another member to its family of stepper motors in the diameter range from 6 to 22 mm. All components are accommodated in a housing measuring 9.7 mm in length and 6 mm in diameter. With a holding torque of 0.25 mNm, a speed of up to 20,000 rpm and a torque of up to 0.2 mNm, these stepper motors are suitable for applications where high performance is required in a small space, according to the manufacturer. The open-loop operation enables simple implementation. Areas of use include applications with high requirements for angular and linear positioning, for example in the fields of optics, photonics and medical technology. The standard version of the motor is suitable for the operating temperature range from -35 to +70 °C. A wide range of metric spindles for linear movements and a planetary gearbox with various reduction ratios round off the configuration options. Further modifications are available on request.
