In addition to the existing 'PSC-60' (60 W), 'PSC-100' (100 W) and 'PSC-160' (160 W) series models, Emtron offers the 35 W model of the PSC-35 series to serve lower power safety applications or back-up applications with smaller batteries. The devices are available as an open PCB type (open frame) or as a partially closed type (with optional housing). The series operates with an input voltage range between 90 V(AC) and 264 V(AC) and delivers 13.8 V(DC) (setting range from 12 to 15 V(DC)) or 27.6 V(DC) (setting range from 24 to 29 V(DC)) at the output to cover the most frequently required voltages of 12 V(DC) and 24 V(DC) in safety applications. The efficiency is up to 86 %, and the entire series can operate fan-free in the operating temperature range from -30 to +70 °C. The power supplies have all protection functions against short circuit, overload, overvoltage, low battery voltage and reverse battery polarity (with fuse). It also offers an alarm function via TTL signal output if the battery voltage is too low.
