The new generation of servo controllers from ESR Pollmeier are suitable for applications with direct drives and 'classic' servomotors. Equipped with integrated safety technology, the servo controllers can be controlled via Profinet, Ethercat, Modbus/TCP, CANopen or analog interface. Their networking via Industrial Ethernet forms the basis for integration in the context of Industry 4.0. The devices are available in nine power levels up to 15 kW with rated currents from 0.8 A to 32 A (up to 64 A peak current). They are connected directly to 230 V or 3×400/480 V (wide-range inputs). AC servomotors in stainless steel design are also new. The motors in the 'ME 74' series cover a torque range from 0.3 to 18 Nm (up to 80 Nm peak); if required, planetary gearboxes or bevel gearboxes in stainless steel can be used. Thanks to the protection class up to IP66K/IP69K, they are suitable for environments in which aggressive cleaning agents and disinfectants as well as high-pressure cleaners are used.
