Metronix is launching a servo controller series called Blueservo. It offers real-time Ethernet capability, STO functionality and support for encoder interfaces such as the new "Hiperface DSL" interface, which enables a single-cable solution between the motor and servo controller. Thanks to a completely newly developed hardware platform, these functions are realized at around 25% lower costs, according to the manufacturer. At market launch, the series will consist of six independent servo controllers for control cabinet installation, covering a bandwidth of 0.5 to 6 kVA with single-phase or three-phase supply.
