Hummel has new products in its M12 Power and M23 circular connector series for lighting technology. The "M12 Power" series transmits up to 16 A of power and, with its compact metal housing, meets protection classes IP67 and IP69K. The connectors operate in temperature ranges up to +125 ⁰C and are therefore particularly suitable for applications in harsh environments. The connector series is available as a freely configurable or overmolded version. Nine different device connectors are available, each with four codings. The revised version of the M23 right-angle connector is robust and easy to install. It can be rotated continuously at an angle of up to 300°. The M23 connector family is available for signal, power and Industrial Ethernet applications. Different housing designs can be combined with various contact inserts. The connectors are available with a screw lock and with the "Twilock" quick lock. There are also variants that are plug-compatible with the "Speedtec" locking system.
