Murrelektronik's industrial-grade M12 connectors with IP67 protection are suitable for demanding industrial Ethernet applications. The x-coded M12 enables high data transmission rates, while the y-coded M12 transmits data and power in parallel. The x-coded M12 cables are ideal for error-free high-speed data transmission at up to 10 Gbit/s. A metal cross (X-shaped) in the connector reliably separates four data pairs from each other. The cables are also shielded against external interference. The X-coded M12 connectors are available in combination with PUR cables. The Y-coded M12 cables transmit data and power in parallel with one connector. The metallic Y-coding separates the four contacts for power transmission in the mating pattern from the four signal contacts. This allows data to be transmitted at up to 100 Mbit/s, with two 6 A power outputs available.
