The "Multi Connection System (MCS)" connector system from Wago has a new addition: the MCS Maxi 6 family. With its conductor cross-section range of 0.2 mm² to 10 mm², it is particularly suitable for higher currents. The connectors are available as 2- to 9-pole variants with a 7.62 mm pitch in both wire-to-wire and wire-to-board versions. With a rated current of 41 A, the system is particularly suitable for connecting power electronics. Single-wire conductors and fine-stranded conductors with ferrules are plugged in directly thanks to the push-in "cage clamp" connection technology. The connectors are available in both straight and angled plug-in directions to the PCB. Thanks to the integrated lever, the connector enables intuitive and tool-free handling. As no tools are required to open the terminal point, the connector can be wired in your hands. The latching positions are clear both open and closed and can be recognized by an acoustic signal when latched.
