The SMM safety measurement module from Müller Industrie Elektronik is TÜV-certified safety electronics for safe load, force and pressure measurements in accordance with SIL3 and PL e. In combination with the SCU-DR safety controller, the package can be used for SIL3-compliant applications in almost all areas of industrial automation - for example for safe pressure measurements as well as for safe load measurements in ship and port logistics or in crane and lifting technology. The complete solution as a safety-related measuring chain consists of a full sensor bridge, the 'SMM' measuring amplifier available in three designs, the 'SCU-DR' safety controller and the application-specific actuators. The safety electronics product portfolio comprises the three product types modular universal load cell 'MULC', standard rail housing 'SMM-DR' and field housing 'SMM-HD'.
