The "Omnimate" BLF 3.5 signal conductor connectors from Weidmüller have a particularly flat design with a height of 9 mm (3.5 mm pitch). Their push-in connection system offers a current carrying capacity of 17.5 A and a rated voltage of 320 V, and accepts solid and fine-stranded conductors with and without ferrules from 0.14 to 1.5 mm² (IEC) and 26 to 16 AWG (UL). The conductors are inserted into the terminal point without tools. Fine-stranded conductors without ferrules are connected by opening the terminal point. Optional standard cross-connections ("ZQV") enable the function of a bus system, ensuring a power supply even when changing devices. The plug connector has two mounting flanges so that it can be attached either using the release latch or by means of a classic screw connection. The strain relief is used to pull out the plug in tight installation situations and can also be used to secure conductors with cable ties.
