The CES-C04 transponder-coded safety switch from Euchner consists of two components, a read head with integrated evaluation electronics and an actuator. The transponder coding ensures tamper protection and safety in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 (Cat.4/PLe). In addition, the compact housing shape and the possibility of flexible approach direction of the read head by the actuator allow space-saving mounting on the guard to be protected. The actuator can be positioned in relation to the read head in three stages via a slotted hole; it can be used on doors hinged on the left and right. There are two LED indicators for the status display, which are clearly visible at all times regardless of the installation situation. In addition, the safety switch is equipped with a limit range indicator, which is used to indicate possible misalignment of the safety guard in good time. The safety switch is available in the AP version for operation as a stand-alone device and for connection to decentralized peripheral devices such as the Simatic ET 200pro. The AR version is designed for series connection of up to 20 devices.
