With the DG11, Schurter is launching a variably mountable IEC appliance plug C14/C18 with an integrated circuit breaker for applications that require increased IP protection, among other things. The plug is a further development of the "6135" combined appliance plug. According to the manufacturer, it is available for almost any mounting variant with snap-on or screw fixing. The latter can be attached from the front or the rear. Holes for the screws are also available in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement. A type "TA35" two-pole circuit breaker is integrated into the appliance plug, which offers the function of an appliance switch as well as thermal overcurrent protection. The latter can be designed with a bimetal switch packet on one or two poles and is available in finely graduated rated currents from 0.05 to 20 A. The rocker switch is available illuminated or non-illuminated and in various colors and markings. In addition to IP40 protection in all versions, the plug is also available in a version with IP67 protection against the device. A protective cover for the circuit breaker, sealing beads and four sealing screws for fixing the base ensure that the device can be used in harsh dust or splash water environments.
