Torque measurement Kitorq 4551A from Kistler
© Kistler
With Kitorq 4551A, Kistler presents the latest version of the 'Kitorq' system, which allows torque, speed or angle of rotation to be determined with a maximum resolution of 8192 I/rev. The number of pulses can be freely parameterized by the user; the system offers a speed or angle resolution that can be adapted to any requirement. The torque measuring flange system consists of a measuring body (Kitorq rotor) and a torque evaluation unit (Kitorq stator). The system is fully integrated and virtually invisible. It is not necessary to subsequently adjust the distances between the speed probe and the pole wheel. Thanks to its magnetic function, the probe is maintenance-free and resistant to contamination. The system offers an absolute zero value, the so-called Z pulse, with which the angle of rotation can be determined absolutely. Torques from 50 to 5000 Nm can be determined in various sizes. Parameterization is carried out using the 'Sensortool' software via a USB interface or via the fieldbus connection.
