Robert Franz becomes new CEO
Allied Vision Technologies, part of TKH Group NV, has appointed Robert Franz as CEO as of January 1, 2023. Along with this role, Franz will also assume the role of CEO for the German 2D Vision companies within the TKH Group.
The German 2D Vision companies within the TKH Group include companies such as Chromasens, NET, SVS-Vistek, Mikrotron and Nerian. These companies all operate under the umbrella of TKH Vision. Robert Franz has many years of experience in companies in the automation technology and image processing industry, including as Head of the Global Optical Sensing Division at Honeywell, as President of Rittal in the Americas region and as Senior Vice President Global Sales & Marketing at Datalogic. Robert Franz is a lawyer and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from TIAS Business School in Utrecht (NL).
"With Robert Franz, we have found an excellent candidate with a strong background in strategy, sales and product management to take over the role of CEO of Allied Vision as of January 1, 2023," says Alexander van der Lof, Chairman and CEO of TKH Group.
