Escha at the SPS 2022Connectors in Deutsch-DT design for mobile automation
Escha has developed a product family with overmolded connectors based on the Deutsch-DT design, in which the self-constructed contacts and contact carriers are overmolded in a one-shot process. This avoids long supply chains.
Conec presents the hybrid connector series. The hybrid connector system combines and transmits the power supply and data transmission in accordance with Cat 5 via a specially developed hybrid cable. This single-cable technology corresponds to modern connection and interface wiring. With the angled B23 hybrid flange, it is possible to equip servo drives with an output of over 20 kW with a single-cable solution. Common to all sizes is the separately shielded four-pole data element for the transmission of Industrial Ethernet in accordance with ISO11801 Class D or signals with currents of up to 4 A.
The connector is locked with a bayonet quick-release fastener, so there is no need to use a torque wrench to tighten the screws. A quarter turn ensures a secure connection and IP67 protection. The bayonet can only be locked when the hybrid connectors are fully inserted. This is intended to reduce the risk of failure due to connectors that are not fully mated or have a defined screw connection.
