Escha at the SPS 2022Connectors in Deutsch-DT design for mobile automation
Escha has developed a product family with overmolded connectors based on the Deutsch-DT design, in which the self-constructed contacts and contact carriers are overmolded in a one-shot process. This avoids long supply chains.
Stäubli Electrical introduces the 4 mm stacked plug and test lead program. The test leads are available with plugs mounted on both sides. Alternatively, the stacking plugs can also be used for self-assembly. The safety test leads are designed in accordance with IEC/EN 61010-031 and also have UL approval for the North American market. The range also includes a cable wear indicator. A socket on the rear allows several test leads to be cascaded or plugged in further.
The connectors are therefore suitable for use in teaching equipment or in test benches for break-out boxes, where signal distribution and simultaneous measurement are of great importance. Customers can choose from a broad overall portfolio of eleven standard colors and six different standard lengths. According to the manufacturer, the test leads ensure reliable contact between the measuring device and the points to be tested.
