Sumitomo Drive Technologies is expanding its DA series precision gearbox portfolio to include size 10, the smallest single-stage gearbox in the series with an outer diameter of just 110 mm.

Specially developed for precise applications in robotics, medical technology and machine tools, the gearbox from Sumitomo offers ratios of 41:1, 59:1 and 89:1 as well as acceleration torques of up to 300 Nm and emergency stop torques of up to 600 Nm with complete freedom from mechanical backlash. Thanks to its modular design, the gearbox can be flexibly integrated into the drivetrain. With a noise-optimized design, a long service life and the maintenance-free, sealed design, the gearbox is suitable for demanding applications.
