Hermes Award 2024
Application deadline is February 21
The Hermes Award will also be presented at Hannover Messe 2024. Companies have until February 21 to apply for the industry prize. Also up for grabs: the Hermes Startup Award.
On April 21, the Hermes Award will be presented by Bettina Stark-Watzinger, Federal Minister of Education and Research, at the opening ceremony of the Hannover Messe. Companies and institutions participating in the trade fair have until February 21 to apply for the 'Hermes Award' and 'Hermes Startup Award'.
A jury will decide who wins the industry prize. Its new chairman is Prof. Dr-Ing. Holger Hanselka, President of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. The jury will select three nominated products and start-ups from the submissions, and the final winner will be announced at the opening ceremony on April 21 in Hanover. The criteria of technological innovation, benefits for industry, the environment and society, as well as economic viability and readiness for implementation play a decisive role in the assessment.
The Hannover Messe will take place from April 22 to 26, 2024. The organizer is Deutsche Messe AG.
