Analyses confirm the importance of the trade fair
How relevant is the SPS for companies? 99% of exhibitors rate the automation technology industry event as important or very important for their company. This was the result of the trade fair analyses.
128,000 m², 1229 exhibitors and 50,081 trade visitors - these are the key figures for SPS 2023, which took place in Nuremberg from November 14 to 16. But what do the exhibitors say about the importance of the automation technology industry get-together? 78% of exhibiting companies have already participated in SPS more than once, and 99% rate the trade fair as important or very important for their company. In addition, the visitor survey showed that the right contact persons were on site for exhibitors: 71% of trade visitors are involved in their company's procurement decisions.
The trade visitors are also convinced by SPS: 94% of the visitors surveyed would visit the trade fair again, 95% would recommend it to colleagues and customers and overall 98% are very satisfied or satisfied with their visit. The trade visitors on site were impressed by the wide range of new products and trends, as well as the exchange of knowledge and experience at an international level.
China back in 1st place
The proportion of international exhibitors last year was 38%. The list of international exhibitors was headed by China, followed by Italy, the United States of America and, in fourth place, the three countries Austria, Taiwan and Switzerland. 5th place went to the Netherlands.
The proportion of international trade visitors was 28%. Compared to SPS 2022, 27% more visitors from non-European countries took part last year.
