»Application of TSN« - this is the motto of the international TSN/A Conference, which will take place in Stuttgart from October 1st to 2nd this year. Join the community and discuss the application of the real-time Ethernet standard with experts and users
[DE] For the 9th time, Computer&Automation and the AVNU Alliance are hosting the two-day TSN/A Conference. Over the past few years, this international event has become the leading platform for information and discussion on the Time Sensitive Networks (TSN) real-time Ethernet standard. Together with 5G and OPC UA, this technology significantly influences the communication technology of tomorrow in the fields of industry, automotive, and the audio-video consumer world.
This year's conference is themed »Application of TSN«. Where is TSN already in use? Where could TSN play a role in the future? The conference also explores current and emerging use cases, standards, experiments, best practices, and technologies related to time- and/or mission-critical applications supported by convergent networks. Application areas include cyber-physical systems, the industrial Internet of Things, automotive applications including intelligent transport systems, aerospace, and real-time audio and video.
In addition to the lecture program, there will be a hands-on workshop where participants can experience and understand the integration of virtual controls via a TSN backbone. The TSN backbone connects three Profinet networks, two Ethercat networks, one CC-Link IE TSN network, and an OPC UA PubSub-based application.
