Start of applications for the 2023 Innovation Award
The AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement (AMA) invites individuals and development teams from science and industry to apply for the AMA Innovation Award 2023.
Individuals and development teams with innovative research and development solutions in sensor and measurement technology with recognizable market relevance can apply for the AMA Innovation Award 2023. The prize is endowed with prize money of 10,000 euros. In addition, companies can apply for the special "Young Company" prize if they have been on the market for less than five years, employ fewer than 50 people and generate an annual turnover of less than 10 million euros. The winner will receive a free exhibition stand at Sensor+Test 2023.
The innovation prize has been awarded for 23 years and goes to the developers themselves, not to the companies or institutions behind them. The jury, consisting of industry experts from universities, research institutions and industry, pays particular attention to the scientific achievement, the degree of innovation of the development and the expected opportunities in the market. Applications can be submitted until January 26, 2023.

Positive development in the 1st quarter
In the first quarter of 2024, sensor and measurement technology companies generated sales growth of 2% compared to the previous quarter. This was the result of the quarterly survey of the AMA Association's 450 members on economic development.
