Metallux
Fusion of Metallux and Senstronic
Senstronic, a French company specializing in the development, manufacture and marketing of sensors, connectors and signal processing systems, has acquired a majority stake in Metallux.
Metallux will continue to operate independently and the Metallux site will be retained and, where possible, expanded. Senstronic is already active in Metallux's core markets and will contribute its experience and resources to capitalize on new opportunities. According to the company, this will mean improved access to new and existing products and services for Metallux customers.
"We are very pleased about this partnership, which paves the way for a successful future," says Philippe Desnos, CEO of Senstronic. "By combining our strengths, we can not only secure our location and open up new markets, but also offer our customers an even greater variety of high-quality products and services."
Andreas Oberascher, CEO of Metallux, says: "This collaboration offers us long-term strategic opportunities to sustainably expand and strengthen our business."
Senstronic, based in Alsace since 1986, currently employs over 250 people at eight locations worldwide. Metallux is a developer and manufacturer of sensors using thick-film technology, whose product portfolio ranges from pressure, displacement and angle sensors to resistors and industrial joysticks for controlling vehicles and machines.
