Indian flowmeter producer acquired
The Baumer Group has acquired Manas Microsystems, a supplier of flow meters in India.
Manas Microsystems offers products for the flow measurement of gases and liquids. The company was founded in 1998 and is located in Pune/India. With a team of 80 employees, Manas offers a broad portfolio of flow meters as well as a certified test and calibration laboratory for industries such as water management, dairy, automotive, sugar, textile, paper and pulp, heat treatment and pharmaceuticals. With this acquisition, Baumer intends to expand its expertise as an international specialist in process sensor technology.
