Generation change completed
Sonotec co-founder Hans-Joachim Münch is retiring. Siblings Manuela and Michael Münch continue to run the family business as dual leadership.
Hans Joachim Münch has stepped down from his position as Managing Director of ultrasonic measurement technology provider Sonotec as of August 31, 2023 and will follow founding partner Dr. Santer zur Horst-Meyer into retirement.
The change in management began back in 2019, when Manuela and Michael Münch joined the company and took over the management as part of a trio together with their father. The siblings have been active in various positions at Sonotec for almost a decade. As managing partners, they will shape the future of the company together.
Sonotec was founded in 1991 and is a global provider of products and solutions for precision measurement technology. With around 200 employees, the technology company in Halle (Saale) develops and manufactures ultrasonic measurement technology in the three business areas of non-invasive fluid monitoring, preventive maintenance and ultrasonic transducers.
