Turck Austria
Change in management
Turck's Austrian subsidiary has a new managing director in Herbert Salzgeber. He took over the management in January 2019.
Salzgeber (51) is an automation specialist with many years of sales experience. He takes over the position of Managing Director of Turck Austria from Stephan Auerböck (47), who left the company at his own request at the end of December after more than 25 years. Auerböck wants to reorient himself outside the automation industry.
"We are delighted to have found a proven automation professional in Herbert Salzgeber, who has been at home in the Austrian market for decades," commented Christian Wolf, Managing Director of Turck Holding, on the change in management. "We are convinced that with Herbert Salzgeber we will not only be able to continue the path of Turck GmbH in Austria, but also to significantly increase growth. At the same time, we would like to thank Stephan Auerböck, who has been working for Turck since 1992 - initially in sales with our former trading partner and after the foundation of our own national company as sales manager and managing director."
