Belden is launching a new member of the 'Bobcat' product family with the Bobcat high-port switch from Hirschmann.
The managed switch with up to 24 ports is a compact network solution for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Key features of Belden 's switches include high port density for connecting network devices, TSN technology to support multiple services on the network simultaneously and ensure deterministic communication, advanced security features such as wire-speed Access Control Lists (ACL) and automatic Denial of Service (DoS) protection, and maximum output power through Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) ports that do not require load balancing.
