Genoa
Supports OPC UA encryption and authentication
If information from sensitive production networks or critical infrastructures is required for further processing, data diodes such as the cyber-diode from Genoa are the ideal solution.
It enables non-reactive transfer of machine and system data to insecure networks, such as the cloud for data analysis. In the current version 2.5, it supports encryption and authentication according to OPC UA, which enables platform-independent communication and the standardized exchange of machine data both horizontally and vertically. The data diode can be used, for example, between OPC UA servers of machines and targets such as databases, visualization clients or cloud services to encrypt data for further processing and forward it in a highly secure manner, for example for condition monitoring. The data diode only allows one-way data transfers; it blocks any information flow in the opposite direction. The new version of the data diode also makes it possible to extract information from a subset of UPC UA nodes.
