Monitor and evaluate analog process values

With the AS-i safety analog input module BWU2692, Bihl+Wiedemann has developed a control cabinet module in IP20 with which it is possible to safely monitor and evaluate analog process values such as temperature, pressure and flow.

The input module for analog inputs has two safe inputs and supports applications up to SIL3/Kat4/PLe. The 22.5 mm wide module monitors two analog signals with 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 10 V or Pt100. Optionally, the signals can be safely compared with each other. The user or the application determines which signals are monitored. Several safe ranges can be set as part of the monitoring. Safe release occurs as soon as the measured values are within one of the maximum eight parameterizable ranges. If the safety analog module is used in combination with a gateway from the company, the current analog values are also transmitted to the respective standard controller.
