German industry is increasingly being targeted by criminals: This is the result of a study for which the digital association Bitkom surveyed 503 managing directors and security managers:

Bitkom also surveyed the region or country of origin of the attacks. According to the survey, 36% of attacks came from Germany, followed by Russia. According to Bitkom, attributing attacks is extremely difficult, which is why it is not surprising that in 13% of cases it was unclear which region the attacks actually came from.
