German industry is increasingly being targeted by criminals: This is the result of a study for which the digital association Bitkom surveyed 503 managing directors and security managers:

Who are the culprits? Very often former employees. Almost two thirds of the industrial companies affected stated that they had been harmed by former employees. It should be noted here that the opportunity to become a perpetrator is predominantly created during active employment.
