Security study by Bitkom51 billion euros in damage due to cyber attacks
In the last two years, every second company in the German industry has been the target of cyber attacks - according to Bitkom, the damage amounts to 51 billion euros per year. Who are the victims and who are the perpetrators? How badly is the mechanical and plant engineering sector affected?

The most common crime in the 1,074 companies surveyed is the theft of IT and telecommunications devices: in 28% of the companies surveyed, computers, smartphones or tablets have been stolen in the last two years.
