September 21 and 22, 2022
Forum Safety & Security - Live and in color!
The interdisciplinary "Forum Safety & Security" is finally taking place in person again: From September 21 to 22, 2022, everything will revolve around the topic of security in IT and OT at Landshut University of Applied Sciences. The program is now online.
The keynote speech takes participants into the 'digital underworld' and is dedicated to the 'anatomy of an attack': speaker Tim Berghoff, Security Evangelist at G Data CyberDefense, takes participants on an imaginary journey from the security vulnerability to the blackmail message. Because no one can be safe from attacks.
After this prelude, there will be two tracks: while one track will be dedicated to methods and tools in terms of safety and security, the other track will delve deep into the security aspects and problems of applications. Examples include the topics of runtime verification for safe robot systems, IP protection and licensing issues in 3D printing, and security in the context of the new draft of IEC 61508.
The day will conclude with a keynote from Softscheck on post-quantum cryptography and the big question of how data can be protected for the future.
