Dr. Alexander Meckelnborg is CTO

Denios, a company in the field of hazardous materials storage and occupational safety, is strengthening its management team with Dr. Alexander Meckelnborg. He joins as CTO from Stephan Machinery in Hamelin.

On June 1, Dr. Alexander Meckelnborg was appointed to the management level at Denios as Chief Technology Officer, or CTO for short. The 39-year-old brings with him extensive experience from various management positions: He studied mechanical engineering and economics at RWTH Aachen University, Ecole Centrale Paris and UC Berkeley. He then completed his doctorate in production management at the WZL at RWTH Aachen University. At Siemens Mobility, he was Head of Quality Management and Digitalization in Global Development for Rail Vehicles, followed by Head of International Development. Most recently, he was Managing Director at Stephan Machinery in Hamelin, a machine and plant manufacturer for the food industry.

In his new role at Denios, Dr. Meckelnborg will head up the Innovation, Engineering and International Technical Operations departments with the current six production sites. He is also responsible for the production companies in France, the Czech Republic and the USA.

In addition to Dr. Alexander Meckelnborg as CTO, the management quartet includes Helmut Dennig (CEO), Ricarda Fleer (CFO) and Horst Rose (CSO).
