The recent launch of the Pedestrian Proximity Detection solution took center stage at Logimat sand for Powerfleet with the topic of safety.
The AI-powered safety system proactively prevents accidents, increases pedestrian safety and reduces damage to material handling equipment (MHE) in warehouses and production facilities. Using AI-powered object recognition, the solution identifies people and MHE on their routes, provides visual and audible warnings of potential hazards and thus improves the safety culture. The company's solutions for fleets in warehouses, distribution centers, logistics and production facilities include, for example, the combination of a camera system, violent damage sensors, data and AI functions. This reduces incidents of damage through access and speed control, for example, and helps to reconstruct security incidents and identify high-risk areas. The 'Unity' platform ingests data from any source, harmonizes it and transforms it into actionable insights.
