More and more industrial robots are being used in production facilities to complete manufacturing processes as precisely as possible and in a high cycle time. As their number grows, so does the amount of data to be processed. For this reason, the German-American company has developed RoboLive. Five elements simplify the identification, elimination and avoidance of weak points, support project planning and automate the documentation of work results: Process visualization enables monitoring of project planning and production as well as breaking out of the iterative quality assurance cycle. Everyone involved has access to the same data basis for their analyses and can therefore initiate targeted corrections and monitor their implementation. The integrated best-fit algorithm and the zero-point determination element significantly reduce the effort involved in optimizing and modifying systems. The software overview bundles data relevant to planning and makes it available in a single document. Path calibration shifts parts of the workload from the system to the office, speeds up commissioning and enables the digital twin to be connected to the real system.

According to Dressler Automation, the solution is already being used successfully in the automotive industry on several continents. In order to further establish itself in Europe, RoboLive will be represented at automatica for the first time this year.
