Future Box - AI exhibition connects people and technology
An interactive exhibition is soon to open at the Deutsches Museum: The "Future Box", a cooperation between Dassault Systèmes and the Deutsches Museum, will focus on technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual twins and space innovations. The exact opening date is yet to be announced.

One particular highlight is "AI-ME" (/ˈeɪ.mi/), an AI from Dassault Systèmes that navigates through the exhibition as a digital guide. Together with human guides, AI-ME interactively accompanies visitors through various themed rooms and makes complex innovations tangible.
Technology in the service of society
In the "Body and Society" themed area, visitors can experience how pioneering technologies are revolutionizing health and research:
- Humanoid assistance robot from Neura Robotics: it recognizes objects, understands speech and emotions - in future it could be used in care.
- Living Heart Project from Dassault Systèmes: A digital twin of the human heart improves the understanding of heart function and enables new treatment methods.
- Neutral atom quantum computer from planqc: This technology could accelerate the development of new drugs.
Focus on sustainability and space travel
The "We and our planet" theme room is dedicated to technological solutions for a sustainable future:
- Virtual space travel with the German Aerospace Center: with the help of VR, visitors experience a view of the Earth and its changes from orbit.
- Space capsule "Nyx" from The Exploration Company: Reusable space technology for transportation and experiments in Earth orbit.
- Satellite from OroraTech: Sophisticated early detection of forest fires for a faster response to natural disasters.
A look into the future of interactive exhibitions
With the "Future Box", Dassault Systèmes and the Deutsches Museum are reaffirming their commitment to innovative technologies. The exhibition concept was realized with the support of Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, which promotes start-ups and pioneers in the development of future-oriented technologies.
The exhibition in the Deutsches Museum's "Forum of the Future" is intended to invite visitors to immerse themselves interactively in the world of innovation and discuss the future of technology together.
