The tablet was specially developed for use in demanding working environments - from warehouses and logistics centers to remote locations and outdoor facilities. Thanks to its low weight (590 g), wide temperature range (-29 to +63 °C) and bright 1,000 nits display (16:10 aspect ratio), it is particularly suitable for working with forklift trucks or for drone control. MIL-STD-810H and IP67 certification as well as drop resistance from a height of up to 1.8 m are among the device's features. For users who need full functionality while working away from charging options, the tablet is also compatible with Getac's hot-swappable battery technology. Additional batteries can be replaced during use. Hot-swapping can be performed using the internal battery.

Key features include dual SIM (one physical SIM, one eSIM card) for fast switching between operator networks, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax, Bluetooth V5.2 and optional dedicated GPS for fast data transfer and location tracking. Depending on requirements, the ZX80 can also be configured with 4G/5G LTE, NFC and barcode reader. The tablet's Qualcomm QCS6490 processor is suitable for comprehensive IoT applications in industrial and commercial use. The tablet is also AI-enabled and uses Qualcomm's AI engine to enable machine learning on the tablet and run AI applications while maintaining battery life. To maximize its AI capability, the device has 12 Gbytes of LPDDR5 memory. Android 13 is pre-installed and can be updated to future Android versions.
