ipf Electronic has expanded its sensor portfolio. The inductive ring sensors of the IY series detect metallic objects and are suitable for ejection monitoring of small parts in manufacturing processes. They are available with inner ring diameters from 4 mm (static) to 101 mm (dynamic). Alternatively, the IY19 tube sensors are also available. These solutions with M8 connector plugs or M12 cable plugs can be attached to a non-metallic hose or duct from the outside and achieve switching distances of up to 16 mm. The optical frame sensors in the OH series are used to detect a wide variety of objects. For example, they can be used for ejection monitoring on presses and punches, presence monitoring and length measurement of wires and pipes. Compared to inductive ring sensors, they also monitor larger areas and detect even very small parts or fast-moving objects. The optical frame sensors are available with active zones from 25 mm × 23 mm to 300 mm × 397.5 mm. The OY200100 optical ring sensor completes the portfolio.
