Use for very fast processes

Optris launches the CT 4M high-speed pyrometer with a detection time of 90 µs.

It measures in the spectral range from 2.2 µm to 6.0 µm, making it particularly suitable for low-temperature measurement on metals, metal oxides, ceramics or materials with unknown or changing emissivity (measuring range from 0 to +500 °C). Thanks to a diameter of 14 mm and a length of 28 mm, the sensor head of the Optris pyrometer can be installed directly in a machine, for example, even where space is limited. The remote electronics are connected to the sensor head via a cable up to 15 m long. Important parameters can be set directly via three buttons and an illuminated display.

The integrated USB interface allows the pyrometer to be connected to a PC, on which all settings can be made using the 'CompactPlus Connect' software. The software can also be used to record and log data. The pyrometer can also be connected to a PC and an Android cell phone on which the 'IRmobile' app is installed. This allows the pyrometer settings to be made directly on site during commissioning or maintenance work.

Two scalable analog outputs and three I/O pins (programmable inputs/outputs) are available for integrating the device into the process.
