Wiesemann & Theis
Data logger for process and consumption data
The 'Web-IO 4.0 Digital Logger' from Wiesemann & Theis not only simplifies the control of switching signals in the network, but also data monitoring, as the logger evaluation of the 16 I/O channels can be viewed in any browser.
Like all W&T Web-IO Digital models, the new logger enables remote I/O control and data monitoring via TCP/IP Ethernet. It can also record switching states and pulse counts over time, as every change to the 16 IO signals is recorded with a time stamp and continuously counted channel by channel. This means that consumption data for electricity, water, gas, etc. can be recorded independently over longer periods of time and retrieved as required via the network access. The history of switch events can be viewed in any web browser or exported as a CSV file for any logging section.
Another field of application is machine data acquisition (MDA). Machine running times can be recorded with an accuracy of 100 ms. Depending on the configuration, the data logger stores up to 1 million events. In addition to logging, the optional operation of the IO channels as input or output allows remote-controlled switching via various IoT and industrial protocols such as: HTTP(S), REST, Modbus TCP, OPC DA, OPC UA, MQTT or TCP or UDP sockets.
