Solid start to the year

Dassault Systèmes has announced its unaudited IFRS financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025.

Total sales rose by 4% to EUR 1.57 billion as a result of the 7% increase in recurring sales. New customer business also grew by 7%. The operating profit margin on a non-IFRS basis amounted to 30.9% in the first quarter. Earnings per share including all conversion rights (diluted EPS) amounted to EUR 0.32, an increase of 6%.

Sales of '3DExperience' software grew by 17%, driven by sales in the aerospace, high-tech and automotive sectors. Cloud software sales increased by 7% and amounted to 25% of software sales in the reporting period. Dassault Systèmes recorded a 41% increase in sales thanks to 3DExperience Cloud Software.

For the second quarter, the company expects sales growth of 2% to 6% and diluted EPS of EUR 0.30 to 0.31 (both non-IFRS). An operating profit margin of 29.8% to 29.9% is also targeted. The targets for the current financial year remain unchanged.
