Control multi-layered applications

© Wago

Wago is launching the 'PFC300' controller on the market. According to the manufacturer, it enables universal and cross-industry programming, control and visualization. This is made possible by the Linux operating system, a dual-core 64-bit CPU and 2 Gbytes of RAM.

The controller from Wago has two Gigabit Ethernet ports and an RS485 interface with a terminating resistor that can be set via software. The controller can communicate with third-party devices such as energy meters via a Modbus RTU interface. In addition to the Ethernet interfaces, a USB-C interface is available for application and firmware updates. IEC programming of the controller is possible via Codesys. It is also Docker and cloud-capable, which means that third-party applications can also be integrated. The controller can control multi-layered and resource-hungry applications.
