Hummel is relaunching its M40 connector series, which is now also available with the 'Twilock-S' quick-release fastener. This variant is pluggable with the 'Speedtec' locking system. According to the manufacturer, a minimal twisting movement is enough to reliably lock the connection. Twilock is vibration-proof and complies with protection classes IP67 and IP69K when mated. The angled appliance coupler has undergone a facelift in its design, making it more compact and robust. The overall height has been reduced compared to its predecessor model. In addition, the 'M40 elbow' has a stable rotating mechanism. This allows the cable outlet to be aligned in a radius of around 330° according to the respective requirements. The connectors are suitable for high-current applications and are preferably used on powerful motors. There is a choice of 6-pin and 8-pin versions.
