Hanover Fair 2018New products at the industrial trade fair
'Integrated Industry - Connect & Collaborate' - this is the motto of the world's most important industrial trade fair, Hannover Messe 2018. Computer&AUTOMATION shows an excerpt of the products that can be seen in Hanover in a picture gallery.
The upcoming version 2.8 of the Eplan platform offers new ergonomic features. For example, entire windows of navigators or data dialogs can be hidden at the edge of the main window as flyouts. This provides space for editors, which should make working in the project much clearer. Like a tab, the flyouts can be briefly opened and closed again above the open project pages - moving or temporarily resizing windows is a thing of the past. The tooltips have also been expanded: additional important information from the status bar is displayed below the buttons in the toolbars. Users can also mark projects that are open at the same time with different background colors and additional navigators, such as a second page navigator, can be displayed. Users can also use the additional navigators to display several differently filtered views simultaneously for certain project data of a project, such as pages or equipment. There are also new features in other areas: the new version offers the display of macros in circuit diagram projects, allowing designers to quickly and easily identify window and symbol macros in a project, according to the manufacturer.
