Yaskawa at the SPS 2023
Control unit with 36-month warranty period
With the '300S+' high-speed control system, Yaskawa is opening up new prospects, particularly for the replacement of existing solutions. This is because IOs and accessories are fully compatible with the previous system.
All hardware components can be replaced 1:1 and used in parallel in mixed operation. The CPUs can also continue to be used largely unchanged so that the existing software can remain in place. Yaskawa provides special support for the corresponding adaptations in the CPUs. The company grants a warranty period of 36 months for the entire extended control system, all components are available directly from stock and will be available until at least 2030. The integrated microchips are based on Yaskawa's own technology. According to the manufacturer, the current version of the high-speed control system is around ten times faster than comparable systems. The PLC CPUs offer a memory size of up to 8 Mbytes (fully retentive). Up to 32 expansion modules are possible per station.
