embedded world 2024
Embedded community votes for favorites
In addition to the coveted 'embedded award', the 'community choice award' will also be presented for the first time at embedded world. The special feature: The winner will be determined by the embedded community.
At this year's embedded world Exhibition&Conference, the 'embedded award' will once again be presented in the categories 'Hardware', 'Tools', 'Software', 'Embedded Vision', 'Safety & Security', 'Startup', 'Artificial Intelligence' and 'SoC / IP / IC Design'. An international jury of experts selects the winners from this pool; the most innovative products from the embedded systems industry are honored.
This year, however, the opinion of the embedded community is also in demand: you have the opportunity to vote for your favorite among all the nominees for the 'embedded award 2024'. The winner of this 'community choice award' will be announced during the award ceremony. The organizers expect the first live vote for the 'community choice award' to be a "great thrill".
Promotion is a key issue
Beyond the awards, those responsible are also looking forward to the industry get-together, which will take place in Nuremberg from April 9 to 11. "We have all hands on deck to put on the best embedded world yet," says Executive Director Benedikt Weyerer. For the first time, the trade fair will take place in seven exhibition halls. Pre-registration for the 'women4ew' networking event is going well.
The embedded industry thrives on innovation and this is often driven by start-ups. "We want to offer young companies in the embedded systems industry as much support as possible," explains event manager Weyerer. "For this reason, we have set up a second Startup Area for the first time." The two areas in Halls 3A and 5 are very popular: both startup areas are fully booked.
"We have also launched the 'investors' forum' networking event in collaboration with BayStartUP to promote startups," adds Weyerer. "The aim is to build a bridge between startups, decision-makers and the financial world."
Networking events #women4ew and c-level@embedded-world
The networking event #women4ew, which is entering its second round this year, is also all about exchange. "We are looking forward to two hours of dialog, information exchange and empowerment," say Marketing Director Martina Hutter and Executive Director Benedikt Weyerer, who are in charge of the event.
The Expert Panel c-level@embedded-world will be another networking event. In addition to technical questions, top-level executives will also discuss strategic aspects.
