With the 'CAN-Logger200' from ICPDAS, CAN bus communication can be quickly analyzed and diagnosed. The industrial data logger is equipped with two CAN interfaces and a removable SD card on which the data is temporarily stored. The CAN interfaces are available in the form of sturdy M12 screw connections and can be wired with a 120 Ω terminating resistor using a dip switch. The baud rate (up to 1 Mbit/s), the CAN bus protocol (2.0A or 2.0B) and the silent mode can be set individually for each interface. The programmable recording filter enables extensive configuration options for defining the reception, filtering and saving of the CAN bus messages to be recorded. The data logger's processor records up to 150,000 messages per second, which are provided with a time stamp (10 µs cycle). The memory capacity of the 32 Gbyte SD card allows long-term recordings. The data can be transferred to a PC via SD card or USB port for further analysis. Drivers for all common Windows versions are available for this purpose. The data logger in a sturdy metal housing operates in a temperature range from -25 to +75 °C.
