Turck at the SPS 2023
IIoT and service platform for Turck devices
Easy management of devices in Ethernet industrial networks - this is made possible by the Turck Automation Suite, TAS for short. Visitors can find out about its functionality at the trade fair stand.
'TAS' is the central location for the management of Turck devices in industrial Ethernet networks, from the sensor to the controller. The 'Argee' logic software and the 'Beep' IP address management solution are also integrated into the new multifunction tool, as are device-specific apps for applications with IO-Link or RFID. The software functions of Turck's IO-Link devices, such as the Turck Radar Monitor, can be executed directly via TAS if the device is accessible in the associated network. Classic IO-Link functions such as setting parameters can also be carried out directly from TAS. The batch functions in particular speed up many actions, as they can be executed simultaneously for several network devices. With the latest release 1.9, Codesys control programs can now also be managed via the network and loaded, saved, executed and stopped using batch processing. Previously, this had to be done directly in Codesys on each individual device.
Also new in the current release is the 'Cable Monitor' app, which displays the voltage, current and temperature of the 'M12Plus' connectors and thus enables condition monitoring for particularly critical cable connections. The smart connectors transmit their measured values via Bluetooth Low Energy.
The HF Tag Actions application offers a similar function. It can indicate possible detuning of RF read/write heads for long ranges (TNSLR), which can be caused by metallic environments.
