Partnership to promote TSN technology in South Korea

Fraunhofer IPMS has signed a partnership agreement with the TSN Lab to promote the development and dissemination of Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) technology in South Korea.

The aim of the collaboration is to promote Ethernet-based TSN IP cores as a new technology for high-precision time synchronization in networks in South Korea. TSN enables fast and secure data communication and is based on established standards that are continuously being developed to open up broader areas of application. Target industries for TSN include automotive, aerospace, rail, space and telecommunications.

TSN Lab brings extensive experience in research and industrial projects and will be an important partner in the implementation and dissemination of this technology. The collaboration underscores the long-standing economic relationship between Fraunhofer IPMS and Korean research organizations and industry.

TSN Lab will help us to promote this technology in South Korea and transfer it to the industry," says Dr. Alexander Noack, Head of Data Communication & Computing at Fraunhofer IPMS. The partnership increases the presence of Fraunhofer IPMS in the Asian market and strengthens its position as a developer of innovative network solutions. TSN Lab is a leader in the field of integrated real-time systems in Korea. Coupled with Fraunhofer IPMS's expertise in TSN IP cores, the agreement is expected to drive innovation in the rapidly evolving field of real-time data communication.
