Softing Industrial Automation takes over Delta Logic
Softing Industrial Automation has acquired 100% of the shares in Delta Logic Automatisierungstechnik in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
Delta Logic brings extensive expertise in communication between PC-based systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to the Softing Group. Delta Logic also has high-performance software based on the OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA), which is now the leading technology for the cross-system exchange of data between products from different manufacturers. Both complement Softing Industrial's strategic core business.
Thomas Hilz, Managing Director of Softing Industrial together with Thomas Rummel, says: "We know the Delta Logic team from years of joint development. The expertise created by company founder Rainer Hönle in accessing Siemens controllers is unparalleled on the market. We warmly welcome our new colleagues and look forward to giving Delta Logic products a further boost to growth with Softing's international sales."
Softing expects Delta Logic to generate profitable additional revenue of around EUR 3 million per year initially and up to EUR 5 million later on.
