Third place in the Robotics Award 2015 went to the company MRK-Systeme from Augsburg. It had entered the competition with a human-machine collaboration. A robot with a protective casing removes disordered components from a load carrier and hands them to a human in an ergonomically favorable position. Man and machine interact directly with each other using visual feedback and intuitive removal of the component. The human sets the pace.
